  • Assistant Professor of Sport Business (#266)

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sport Business beginning August 2025. We are seeking an energetic and highly collaborative colleague with a commitment to excellence in teaching and applied scholarly activity. The primary responsibilities will include teaching undergraduate and MBA courses in Sport Business. Experience with advising students, developing curriculum, assessing learning outcomes, and using the Canvas LMS is preferred. The selected candidate will be expected to teach courses on the main campus in Gaffney, South Carolina as well as online courses.

  • Assistant/Associate Professor of Elementary Education (#278)

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ invites applications for the position of a full-time, 9-month, tenure-track Assistant/Associate Professor of Elementary Education starting January 2025. The primary responsibilities of the person who occupies this position will include dynamic teaching of undergraduate courses related to Elementary Education and Literacy, advising undergraduate Elementary Education Teacher Candidates, participation in accreditation and other Teacher Education Program academic and social activities, service to the institution and the field, and scholarly activity. Courses will be taught face-to-face on the Gaffney, South Carolina campus during normal business hours. Occasional evening and weekend events will require attendance. Experience with Canvas is preferred. Familiarity with South Carolina Teaching Standards, CAEP, and South Carolina Elementary Education Standards preferred. Some travel required. 

     A terminal degree with 18 graduate hours in Elementary Education and 18 hours in literacy is required. A minimum of three years of successful elementary public-school teaching is required.

  • Instructor/Assistant Professor of Nursing, Psych/Mental Health (#395)

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, tenure track position for an Instructor/Assistant Professor of Nursing beginning August 2025.  The faculty member is responsible for the development, teaching, and evaluation of courses to achieve SLOs; advising and guiding students; working with the director and other faculty to build appropriate nursing experiences for a successful ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ BSN program and maintenance of accreditation. Nursing Faculty members must demonstrate professionalism, effective leadership and communication skills, dedication to the program mission, and collaborative behavior to meet faculty requirements as stated in the Faculty & Staff Handbook.  Rank is determined by years of experience and level of education. Experience in Psychiatric / Mental Health nursing

      Job Responsibilities:

     Minimum Qualifications:  

    • MSN degree: terminal degree (PhD, DNP) preferred, from an accredited college / university  
    • Has a current, active, unencumbered SC nursing license. 
    • A minimum of three years of experience as a registered nurse providing direct patient care. 
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.  
    • Highly organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to consistently multi-task. 
    • Current American Heart Association BLS for health care providers CPR certification. 

     Physical and Emotional Qualifications:  

    • Ability to speak clearly to communicate instructions and clarify understanding. 
    • Hearing adequate to discern subtle body sounds. 
    • Visual acuity to accurately observe student performance. 
    • Hand / eye coordination sufficient to operate technology and perform nursing functions. 
    • Consistent temperament capable of adapting, managing, and prioritizing appropriately 
    • Able to handle sensitive situations, protect privacy, and adhere to FERPA and HIPAA guidelines. 

     Reports to:  Director of Nursing  

     Course Management: orient, train, and stay up to date on use of Canvas Learning Management System, Limestone HALO, ATI, Navigate, and any other software systems utilized by the program for effective course development and delivery. Provide timely feedback and grading. Document accurately and appropriately. Submit grades as indicated by university deadlines. 

     Clinical Management: plan for clinical experiences in coordination with the courses in the simulation environment and local facilities, schedule clinical hours, orient students to facilities, manage students while in the organizations, supervise students at all times, evaluate students daily, maintain good working relations with agencies and faculty, communicate and solve issues as they arise, conduct nursing practice without discrimination, respect privacy, be accountable to nursing standards, and scope of practice, and submit evaluations / grades as indicated by University deadlines. 

     Professional Development: Remain current of knowledge, skills and best practices in delivering quality nursing instruction through attending conferences, classes, reading journals and independent study.   

     Teaching: courses as assigned. 

     Evaluation: The nursing program will evaluate the performance of full-time faculty members as outlined in the Faculty & Staff Handbook annually. Also, the nursing program will evaluate faculty after each semester through Course and Student evaluations and direct observance by the Director of Nursing.

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ invites applications for the Adjunct Pool for Education starting January 2023. The primary responsibilities of the people who occupy this position will include teaching graduate and/or undergraduate courses related to Elementary Education, Early Childhood, and/or Literacy. Staffing for undergraduate courses is on the main campus in Gaffney, South Carolina and graduate courses for the M.Ed. in Teacher Leadership are online. Experience using LiveText and Canvas for instruction and assessment is preferred. SCTS 4.0 Evaluator Certification preferred.

    Undergraduate Instructor Requirements: A master’s degree (M.Ed.) or higher with 18 graduate hours in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and/or Literacy is required. K-12 public school teaching preferred.

    Graduate Instructor Requirements: A terminal degree (Ed.D., Ph.D.) in a public education-related field with 18 graduate hours in education. (Ed.S. candidates will be considered depending on other qualified experiences.)

  • Head Men's Wrestling Coach (#625)

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½, in Gaffney, SC, a Division II member of the NCAA, and a South Atlantic Conference (SAC) member invites applications for the full-time, 12-month position as Head Men's Wrestling Coach. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of the program, including but not limited to: development of student-athletes, recruiting, overseeing the academic progress of student-athletes, scouting, and other duties as needed to continue the success of the program.

    Requirements – A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position. Collegiate level coaching experience with a demonstrated understanding of NCAA DII rules is preferred.   • Online and Graduate Enrollment Counselor (#164 and #177)

    ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ is seeking dedicated and dynamic professionals to fill two full-time positions of Online & Graduate Enrollment Counselors. These positions play a vital role in guiding prospective students through the admissions process for the University’s Online and Graduate Programs.

    Key Responsibilities

    Recruitment & Outreach

    • Represent ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ at community colleges, college fairs, and conferences to attract prospective students.
    • Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment plans to drive the growth and success of online and graduate programs.
    • Build and maintain relationships with prospective students through professional and personalized communication via phone, email, video conferencing, and in-person meetings.
    • Provide detailed guidance on program requirements, application procedures, transfer credits, and learning options (online and in-person).
    • Cultivate partnerships with personnel at other educational institutions to foster recruitment opportunities.

    Admissions Support

    • Act as the primary point of contact for prospective students, offering exceptional customer service throughout the admissions process.
    • Collaborate with Student Success Coaches/Advisors to transition accepted students smoothly into the registration phase.
    • Conduct interviews and correspondence to understand and address prospective students’ educational needs and goals.
    • Maintain accurate documentation and data management for reporting, marketing, and planning purposes.
    • Address challenges that may hinder students’ progress through the admissions pipeline, working to find timely solutions.

    Collaboration & Administrative Duties

    • Work closely with various university departments, including the Registrar’s Office, Financial Aid, and Student Accounts, to streamline the admissions process.
    • Identify at-risk students and communicate their status to appropriate staff for further support.
    • Travel up to 65% during peak recruitment seasons, including occasional nights and weekends. Transportation or mileage reimbursement will be provided per university policy.

    Work Schedule

    • Standard Schedule: Monday–Thursday (8:00 AM–5:00 PM) and Friday (8:00 AM–1:30 PM).
    • Late Night: One evening per week (10:00 AM–7:00 PM).
    • Weekend Hours: One Saturday per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM).

    Qualifications

    • A bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution is required (candidates actively pursuing a degree will be considered).
    • Strong interpersonal skills with an outgoing personality and a commitment to superior customer service.

  • General Maintenance Worker (#742)

    The ÓÅÃÛ´«Ã½ Physical Plant is seeking a Full Time General Maintenance Worker who will fix and maintain machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings. This individual will paint, repair flooring, and work on plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning and heating systems. In the event of an emergency, he/she may be called to support necessary tasks in association with that emergency. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Limestone may identify other responsibilities of the position. 

    Qualifications:

    • Possess some knowledge of maintenance as well as equipment.
    • Ability to perform the physical demands of the position.  
    • Work independently as well as in a team.

    • Performs tasks such as but not limited to changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled trades person or journeyman.
    • Cleans and lubricates parts.
    • Identifies and corrects unsafe working conditions with management oversight.
    • Attends training programs (classroom and virtual) as designated.
    • Complies with all company safety and risk management policies and procedures.
    • Reports all accidents and injuries in a timely manner.
