Presents an overview of ecological concepts but emphasizes the dependence of humans on the biosphere and the impact of human population growth and human activities such as industrialization and agriculture on the ecology.聽 Issues such as individual聽 and cultural聽 accountability and sustainability are examined.聽 This course is designed to meet the needs of the non-science major.
