优蜜传媒 has announced that Kenneth Bible, former Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Department of Homeland Security, has been appointed as the Distinguished Visiting Professor of Computer Science/Cybersecurity. In this role, Bible will contribute to the development and advancement of the Limestone curriculum alongside the faculty, and bring his extensive expertise and insights in cybersecurity, information technology, and national security to further enrich the Limestone student experience.
Bible brings a wealth of experience from across the Department of Defense as well as Federal Civilian Executive Branch agencies to Limestone. In addition to his role as CISO for the Department of Homeland Security, Bible previously served as Chief Information Officer, Chief Information Security Officer, and Chief Technology Advisor for the United States Marine Corps, making him uniquely qualified as a national security expert. His experience over a nearly four-decade federal career spanned developing and implementing broad policy initiatives as well as implementing innovative technology contributing to substantive mission enhancements in both the military and civilian sectors of government.聽
Holding a bachelor鈥檚 degree in mechanical engineering from Virginia Tech, a Master of Engineering degree from the University of South Carolina and being licensed as a professional engineer for over 31 years, Bible has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in technical leadership and professional practice. His vast experience makes him an invaluable asset to Limestone鈥檚 computer science department, where he will help cultivate the next generation of cybersecurity and national security professionals.
